ArcMap and/or ArcCatalog crash when I try to run a tool in ArcToolbox.

If you have Internet Explorer 7 installed, you will experience conflicts with the ArcGIS 9.1 software. Download ArcGIS Service Pack 2 to resolve this error. If you are using a trial version of ArcView 9.1, make sure to download the file called ArcViewDemo91sp2.msp.

Where can I find online help about my workbook?

Each workbook has a companion Web site where you can find posted errata, printable lessons and worksheets, and other helpful tips.

I get an error message while installing or registering the trial software.

Please refer to these common errors for a solution. If you don't find a solution, please send us a message including: the error message, software version, registration code (starts with EVA), operating system, and the steps that led up to the error.

My results do not match the results displayed in my workbook.

Check for posted errata for your workbook. Then try the exercise again, and if the problem persists, please send us details about the workbook, exercise, and your results.
