Understanding Hazus-MH 2.0 Earthquake Model Results
This course builds upon the Loss Estimation Using the Hazus-MH 2.0 Earthquake Model course and explores the various earthquake model results. In addition to providing an overview of the results formats—such as reports, tables, and maps—this course explores the model's analysis outputs, including direct physical damages, utility and transportation damages, debris, and direct economic losses (such as casualties and sheltering). You will also learn to identify the key guidelines for properly interpreting and applying the outputs of the earthquake model.
Community planners, emergency managers, academics, and any other person or organization involved with managing risks to communities created by earthquakes will benefit from this course.
Completion of the Loss Estimation Using the Hazus-MH 2.0 Earthquake Model course or equivalent knowledge is required.
