Description

A great map starts with a great cartographic layout—poor cartography can blur the message you are trying to convey. Most ArcGIS users click the ArcMap Layout button to start making a map. This seminar takes you beyond just working with the Layout button by demonstrating other methods you can use to create visually appealing map layouts in ArcGIS for Desktop. The presenter demonstrates tips and tricks for setting page and printer properties; working with data frame properties; incorporating basemaps and inset maps; editing graphics; and modifying map elements such as legends.
