Rasters (including satellite imagery, digital elevation models, and aerial photographs) are often used in basemaps that provide surface visualization and geographic context, and they are a key ingredient in many sophisticated GIS analyses. This course teaches a variety of common techniques used to prepare rasters for visualization and analysis applications. You will work with the Image Analysis window to dynamically modify properties that enhance raster display, visualize surface features, perform simple change detection, and create multiple products from a single raster source.
GIS analysts, specialists, data managers, and other experienced ArcGIS users who need to work with raster data, including imagery, for visualization and analysis.
Prerequisites
