Implementing and Optimizing ArcGIS Server Map Caches

Description

To optimize the performance of map services in a Web mapping application, caching is strongly recommended. With caching, you pre-generate image tiles of your map services at specific scales, resulting in much faster performance for end users. This seminar presents strategies for designing maps that will be cached and demonstrates how to select a cache tiling scheme and set cache properties.
