Recommendations for Attending an Instructor-Led Online Course
Before Class
Work with your system administrator to configure the computer that you will use to attend class to ensure that you can connect to the online classroom and access the remote PC used for course exercises.
Three business days before class, Esri will e-mail you the link to your online classroom. Use the link to download and print the course materials for use during class. Be sure to save the course workbook and data files to reference after class has ended.
Please arrive 15 minutes early on the first day of class.
During Class
Use a telephone headset or VoIP headset for comfort and better call quality.
Some students find having a second monitor is useful, but this is not required.
To ask questions and participate in class discussions, speak up in the teleconference (using your phone or VoIP) or type using the chat window.
