ArcSDE Administration for DB2
Overview
ArcSDE software is an integrated part of ArcGIS and a core element of any enterprise GIS solution. This course prepares IBM® DB2® database administrators to implement a multiuser geodatabase by teaching how to build an individual ArcSDE server. Students learn how to configure DB2 to support ArcSDE; install and configure ArcSDE; load vector and raster data; monitor and optimize queries; and manage a multiuser, versioned geodatabase. The course focuses on explaining how ArcSDE software interacts with DB2 and presents solid strategies for maintaining and managing a multiuser geodatabase.
