Registering for an Exam
Registering is simple on the Pearson VUE site. You can search testing sites worldwide to find a time and location that's convenient for you. We recommend that you register for your exam at least 5 days in advance of the examination date to allow for processing of your registration and payment.
Pricing
Taking an Esri Technical Certification exam costs $225 USD. The cost is the same for associate level exams, professional level exams, and each subsequent exam retake.
Payment Options
Candidates may purchase a Technical Certification Exam voucher through Esri by requesting a quote from GIStraining@esri.com or calling 800-447-9778. When purchasing through Esri, you may use the below methods of payment. You may also pay for an exam directly from the test provider, Pearson VUE, via credit card. Please note that purchases will be charged in USD. We recommend that international candidates purchase directly through Pearson VUE.
Note: Federal customers must pay exam fees directly to Esri to qualify as a GSA Schedule contract purchase.

| Pre-paid Exam Voucher | Candidates within the U.S. may use pre-paid requests including credits acquired through programs such as the Esri Enterprise Advantage Program, Business Partner Advantage Program, and Esri Training Pass. When requesting a quote to purchase through Training Pass, you will need the Training Pass account number, which your organization’s Training Pass administrator can provide. |

GI Bill Reimbursement
Esri Technical Certification exams are also covered under the GI Bill. Qualified candidates will need to purchase their exam with Pearson VUE via credit card and then submit a form for reimbursement under the GI Bill provision.
- Search for a list of approved certification exams under the GI Bill at the VA License & Certification Search. Type Esri for the L&C Name and select Certification for LAC Category Type.
