The Virtual Campus team would like to thank URISA for its contributions to the Virtual Campus Library.

logo of urisa URISA is a nonprofit, international association of information technology professionals committed to implementing GIS and other information technology applications to solve challenges faced by state and local governments. URISA is also the premier organization promoting the use and integration of spatial information technology to improve the quality of life in urban and regional environments. Founded in 1963, URISA includes members from many disciplines who are dedicated to advancing the effective application of information technology in decision making.

URISA has contributed the content from their 1997 and 1998 annual conference CD-ROMs for the opening of the Virtual Campus Library. In the near future, their 1999 conference proceedings will be online as well as earlier content from URISA.
