Getting Started with Surface Analysis using ArcGIS Spatial Analyst
Overview
Adding raster surfaces to a map is simple; working with them to obtain useful information is more challenging. This workshop provides an overview of raster surfaces, spatial modeling concepts, and ArcGIS Spatial Analyst tools for analyzing raster surfaces. Participants learn how to create and modify raster surfaces and perform basic surface analysis calculations using Map Algebra.
Who Should Attend
This workshop is designed for ArcGIS users who want a foundation for advanced spatial analysis and modeling using ArcGIS Spatial Analyst.
Prerequisites
Participants should have a working knowledge of ArcMap and familiarity with raster data and ArcGIS Spatial Analyst software.
